Government Shutdown:
The US government has begun to gradually prepare for a possible shutdown of the federal government, which could occur if lawmakers fail to agree on an extension of its funding by the end of September. The Washington Post reported this on September 21, citing its sources via RIA-Novosti.

Executives worry that a prolonged government shutdown will only make an already confusing business environment more uncertain.
