Shiite cleric Kamal al-Haidari set Wednesday as the first day of Eid al-Adha.
Al-Haidari’s office said in a statement seen by “Nas”, (June 28, 2023), “Wednesday, 28/6, is the first day of Eid al-Adha, according to the jurisprudential building of His Eminence the religious authority, Ayatollah Sayyid Kamal al-Haidari.”
He added, “We send all Muslims the highest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the advent of the feast of slavery, Eid al-Adha, may God Almighty return it to us and all Muslims in Yemen, goodness and blessings, and every year you are fine.”
